“Tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it.” When I was growing up, one of my favorite movies was Anne of Green Gables. Throughout this movie, this line is repeated over and over to reassure Anne that no matter what her past held or what mistakes she’d made, there was always potential for change in her future.
As we enter 2012, I believe Our Heavenly Father is calling each of His daughters to follow Him into the tomorrow that He has for their lives. The first step is asking ourselves, “As I begin 2012, what is determining the course of my future? Do I have issues from my past that are keeping me from God’s perfect will for my life? If my past is the GPS for my life, why am I allowing it to choose my life’s direction?”
